ຕອນປະຕິຫານໂປດຍາດພີ່ນ້ອງຢູ່ກຸງກະບິນລະພັດ

ເມື່ອພຣະພຸດທະເຈົ້າສະເດັດໄປກຸງກະບິນລະພັດ ເພື່ອສະແດງທັມໂປດຍາດໃນວັງ ເຫຼົ່າພຣະຍາດທັງຫຼາຍເຫັນວ່າຕົນມີໄວວຸດທິສູງ ຈຶ່ງບໍ່ໄດ້ຖວາຍຄວາມເຄົາລົບຕາມສົມຄວນ ດ້ວຍເຫດນີ້ ພຣະພຸດທະອົງຈຶ່ງຊົງສະແດງອິດທະປະຕິຫານ ເຫາະຂຶ້ນສູ່ອາກາດເໜືອຫົວຂອງເຫຼົ່າສາກະຍະທັງຫຼາຍ 

ພຣະເຈົ້າສຸດໂທນະນະ ຜູ້ສະເດັດມາຮັບແລະ ເຝົ້າພຣະພຸດທະອົງ ຊົງເຫັນເຫດອັດສະຈັນອັນໜ້າອັດສະຈັນໃຈນີ້ ຈຶ່ງຊົງຍົກພຣະຫັດ ນົບຖວາຍບູຊາດ້ວຍຄວາມເຫຼື້ອມໃສ ສ່ວນພຣະຍາດທັງຫຼາຍທີ່ຍັງຊົງຖືໂຕ ແລະ ຖືສັກສີ ເມື່ອໄດ້ເຫັນປະຕິຫານນັ້ນ ກໍ່ພາກັນຖວາຍອະພິວາດ ແດ່ພຣະຜູ້ມີພຣະພາກເຈົ້າພ້ອມກັນທົ່ວທຸກອົງ 

ທັນໃດນັ້ນເອງ ເມກໃຫຍ່ມະຫຶມາກໍ່ມືດຂຶ້ນ ແລ້ວຫຼັ່ງສາຍຝົນຕົກລົງມາທົ່ວພື້ນ ຝົນນັ້ນເອີ້ນວ່າ "ໂບກຂະຣະພັນ" ມີສີແດງເປັນຝົນມະຫັດສະຈັນທີ່ໃຜປາດຖະໜາໃຫ້ປຽກກໍ່ປຽກໄດ້ ສ່ວນຜູ້ບໍ່ປາດຖະໜາໃຫ້ປຽກ ກໍ່ບໍ່ປຽກ ຢາກນ້ຳຝົນຈະກິ້ງລົ່ນຈາກກາຍ ຄືກັບນ້ຳຝົນທີ່ໄຫຼລົ່ນຈາກໃບບົວ 

" ຄວາມຖືຕົວແລະທິດຖິມານະ ຍ່ອມດັບລົງໄດ້ດ້ວຍປັນຍາ ແລະ ຄວາມອັດສະຈັນແຫ່ງທັມ

 ເມື່ອໃຈອ່ອນນ້ອມ ຈຶ່ງເຂົ້າເຖິງພຣະພຸດທະຄຸນໄດ້”

“The Miracle for the Royal Relatives at Kapilavatthu”

When the Buddha journeyed to Kapilavatthu to preach to His royal relatives, the elders, considering themselves of senior age, did not offer Him due reverence. For this reason, the Buddha manifested miraculous powers in the air above the heads of the assembled Sakyan princes. King Suddhodana, who had come to receive and pay homage to the Buddha, witnessed these marvelous wonders and immediately raised his hands in veneration. The other relatives, though at first proud and obstinate, were moved by this display and together paid homage to the Blessed One. At that very moment, a great cloud arose and heavy rain began to fall. This rain was called "Bokkhara Rain," crimson in color. Those who wished to be wet became wet, while those who did not wish remained dry, for the raindrops rolled off their bodies like water gliding from a lotus leaf.
